2024 Chevrolet Equinox EV: Available Now

The first ever all-electric Chevrolet Equinox EV has arrived at our dealership! This all-new vehicle has a sleek and muscular body with a variety of customizations that can be made. The EV differs from the standard Chevrolet Equinox by including more features, such as Super Cruise, and having an elevated all-electric performance. Design

Exterior

This electric vehicle has a muscular exterior with sleek lines, standard flush door handles and an available two-tone roof. 19-inch wheels are standard, with 21-inch wheels available depending on trim level. Keep reading for a break-down of trim levels. This is compared to the Equinox ICE wheels that vary in size from 17 to 19 inches. The Equinox EV is also longer than its gas counterpart, with a length of 190.55 inches compared to a length of 183.1 inches.

Interior

The interior allows for various customizable features including ambient lighting, heated front seats, and a heated steering wheel. A dual height cargo floor is available and boasts up to 57.2 cubic feet of cargo space. A digital dashboard is featured inside along with power-adjustable seats, a sunroof, and dual climate control with neat turbine style air vents at the different trim levels. You can expect to see features like contrast color seat stitching, soft touch door inserts, and leather upholstery. The 17.7-inch touchscreen can be found among all trim levels.

Technology

Basic driver-assistance features come standard in this vehicle, including automated emergency braking, lane-keep assistance, and automatic high beams. Super Cruise is the first hands-free driving assistance technology from Chevrolet and is featured in the Equinox EV. This feature equips vehicles with a series of sensors and cameras that can identify lane markings to keep the driver centered in their lanes when driving hands free.

Performance

This all-electric vehicle will also be a powerful performance. With eAWD, go 0-60 miles per hour in 5.9 seconds (1). You can also expect 288 horsepower with up to 1,500 pounds of towing capacity (2). Built with the Ultium Platform, the Equinox EV has near instant electric torque, which allows for quick acceleration.

Charging and Range

The Chevrolet Equinox EV has a range of 315 miles on average. This electric vehicle can be charged on the go or at home. Standard 11.5 kW level 2 charging can add up to an estimated 34 miles of range per hour of charging. With DC Fast Public Charging, you can add 70 miles of range in just 10 minutes of charging. The Equinox EV is more affordable than the Blazer EV, the only other all-electric SUV from Chevrolet right now. Here are the starting prices of each trim level:
