Belzer in the Community: Heading Into 2026

As we enter into the new year, it’s the perfect time to reflect on the community initiatives that helped close out these last couple months on a meaningful note. Giving back has always been a core value at Jeff Belzer’s, and the end of this year was no exception. From spreading holiday cheer, to supporting local youth and first responders, Jeff Belzer’s is proud to be involved in impactful events across our communities.

Toys for Tots

To finish the year strong, Jeff Belzer’s hosted three Toys for Tots drop-sites at Jeff Belzer’s Lakeville Chevrolet, Jeff Belzer’s New Prague Ford, and Jeff Belzer’s Roseville Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram. This initiative served as the main focus of our December community efforts, allowing our customers, employees, and community members to come together to donate to an important cause during the holiday season.

Toys for Tots has been making an incredible impact since 1947, distributing more than 708 million toys to 314 million children. Now in its 78th year, the program continues its mission of spreading hope and joy to children whose families may not be able to afford Christmas gifts. Run by the United States Marine Corps Reserve and supported by the Marine Toys for Tots Foundation, this 501 (c)(3) nonprofit plays a role in bringing communities together to donate nationwide.

This year, Jeff Belzer’s partnered with QA1, and together we collected an impressive amount of toys – so many, in fact, that the collection was overflowing out of the truck! Seeing the generosity of our community firsthand was a beautiful way to end the month of December. We’re incredibly grateful to everyone who donated and helped make this year’s Toys for Tots drive such a success.

Shop with a Hero

We were also proud to once again support Shop with a Hero, an annual event hosted by the Lakeville Public Safety Foundation. This event works to pair local children with Lakeville first responders for a holiday shopping experience they won’t forget. Jeff Belzer’s was honored to serve as a platinum sponsor this year, marking out 10th year participating in the community initiative!

Gopher Sports

As an official partner of Gopher Sports, Jeff Belzer’s continued its community presence through sponsored athletic events and also hosting a free ticket giveaway, awarding one lucky family four tickets to cheer on the Gopher Women’s Volleyball team against Nebraska on November 8th. Initiatives like this allow us to create memorable experiences, bring more fans into the stands, and strengthen our connection with the community. We’re proud to continue offering similar opportunities through our social media channels so fans can stay connected and engaged all season long.

One of the highlights of the evening was our sponsorship of the Volleyball Court Kids, a group of young girls who proudly serve as ball girls for the University of Minnesota Gopher’s Volleyball team. We had the opportunity to capture some fun, behind-the-scenes content of the girls in action, showcasing their excitement and energy on the court.

Many of these girls are athletes themselves, participating in local school and club programs and representing the next generation of players and fans. Through this partnership, we’re proud to support youth involvement in local sports while fostering inspiration and meaningful connections – both on and off the court.

Heading into 2026

Looking ahead to the new year, Jeff Belzer’s is excited to kick off 2026 with another fan-focused community giveaway. We’re hosting a ticket giveaway for the Minnesota Gopher Men’s Hockey matchup against Wisconsin on January 31, 2026, at 6:00 PM at 3M Arena at Mariucci in Minneapolis.

One lucky winner will receive four tickets and one parking pass, giving a family or group of friends the opportunity to experience one of college hockey’s most exciting rivalries live. The winner will be announced on January 16, 2025, so fans are encouraged to check out this link to enter before then!
