Charlie’s on Prior Beer & BBQ Fest 2025 | Prior Lake, MN

The 2025 Beer & BBQ Fest at Charlie’s on Prior was back on the ice this year! After the unseasonably warm weather last year, the event was held in the parking lot and docks at Charlie’s. It’s safe to say that everyone was thrilled that the ice was thick enough this year! It’s one of the truly unique features of this winter event, and Jeff Belzer’s Chevrolet is happy to be a sponsor again this year. 

Local Vendors: Food, Drink, and Music 

With the purchase of a ticket, you received unlimited samples of barbeque and craft beers from local vendors and breweries around Minnesota. The food vendors set up their grills and smokers right on the ice and served everything hot! Attendees enjoyed brisket, wings, and more. Although it was a windy day, you could warm up quickly with some hot food and beer. Some of the local breweries includes Surly, Gray Duck, Pryes Brewing, Deschutes Brewery, Modist Brewing Co., and more. You could even take your sampling glass home as a momento of the event. There was also a cigar tent as well as music from Mic Drop Entertainment.  

Beer & BBQ Fest is a great local event to get out of the house in the cold of winter and enjoy samples from local vendors. Having it out on the ice is always a great time – thank you to everyone who braved the wind and came out! This event was absolutely packed at Charlie’s on Prior, with the streets surrounding the restaurant full.
