The Heads-Up Display is a great feature to help you keep your eyes on the road while keeping all of the important information in front of you. Your speed, the speeding limit, and turn-by-turn navigation (if appliable) will be displayed onto the windshield in front of you. That means no more looking down to make sure you’re not going over the speed limit or looking at the infotainment screen to see where your next turn is! Many of the vehicle manufacturers offer this feature, but today, we’ll review how to customize the heads-up display on your 2025 Chevrolet. Let’s walk through the steps!

How to Customize Your Heads-Up Display

To customize the heads-up display in your 2025 Chevrolet, there are only a few easy steps to take. It used to be accessible through a button to the left of the steering wheel, but it’s now all done through the infotainment screen!

  • On your infotainment screen, navigate to Controls (this icon looks like two buttons toggled on and off)
  • Go to HUD (for heads-up display)
  • Here, you have three options: Brightness, Height, and Rotation
    • Brightness: You can make the display brighter or lighter until it disappears completely
    • Height: No matter your height as a driver, you can adjust the height of your heads-up display so that it’s right in your line of sight
    • Rotate: You can rotate the display if you choose, both clockwise and counterclockwise

If you’re not loving the Heads-Up Display, you can easily turn it off in the “HUD” screen by tapping the circular power icon on the left-hand side of the screen. One thing to note is that your Chevrolet will automatically adjust the settings above based on conditions outside. In addition, a dimmer brightness and a lower height work best when it’s dark.
